Date: 2006-12-11 06:02 pm (UTC)There are a couple of different ways to get the snow effect from what I've seen, but I use screened layers in Elements since that's the only program that I have. Sometimes I really wish I had any kind of animation program.
You can always browse through the tutorials in my memories. I've gone through a lot of them to learn how to do anything at all. This one was what taught me the snow effect. I tried to adapt it to my own uses and played around with it for what I wanted from it, but that's the best I can do without actual animations. XD

Date: 2006-12-12 05:49 pm (UTC)I really love having ImageReady for animating, if I only had Elements I think I'd go mad O_O But you've managed amazingly I think for not having an animation program!!
I'll go check those tutorials out. I really want to figure out a cool snow effect. . .all of the ones I've ever seen are jerky while yours is smooth!

Screened layers instead of those blurry ImageReady ideas people make snow tutorials for. I can zip the snow layers for you if you want them.
