Why do I request credit for the things I make? Partially because I take the time to make them, but mostly because I want other people to be able to find my work too. To me, credit is just a nice way to acknowledge the maker and send other people their way. Helps spread the word, 'ya know? So how do you credit? It's actually really easy.

ICON CREDIT

Go to edit userpics. Your display should look like the following:

Click the little "save settings" button to save any changes. Uploading a new icon after changing text will erase the text changes if you haven't clicked the save button. Put your username in the following link to see your userpic page.

Change the text to the correct username or graphic. This can also be used to credit code structure if you have permission to use someone's codes with your own graphics.
